Account Details

• Your account role (e.g. farm owner, advisor, farm manager)
• Login credentials managed securely by our authentication provider

Farm & Agricultural Data

• Farm names, addresses, and geographic regions
• Paddock boundaries, areas, and mapping data (GeoJSON)
• Pasture cover records and walk histories
• Grazing records, rotation plans, and fodder harvest data
• Agronomic recommendations and application records
• Reports and exported documents generated within the platform

Subscription & Billing Information

• Subscription plan and status
• Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe — PaddockPal does not store your card details
• Billing history and subscription events received from Stripe

Usage & Technical Data

• Browser type and device information
• Pages visited and features used within the platform

We use the information we collect to:

• Deliver app functionality — display your farms, paddocks, and records accurately
• Store farm records — securely persist your agricultural data so it is accessible across devices
• Generate reports — produce application history, pasture cover, rotation, and fodder reports
• Provide customer support — respond to queries and troubleshoot issues on your behalf
• Process subscriptions — manage billing events, plan changes, and access gating via Stripe
• Improve the platform — analyse usage patterns to enhance features and reliability
• Send notifications — deliver important platform and account communications

We do not sell your personal information or farm data to any third party.

We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe receives subscription and billing information necessary to process payments. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
• Platform infrastructure providers — hosting, database, and storage services required to operate PaddockPal. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.
• Legal requirements — where we are required to disclose information by law, court order, or government authority.
• Farm team members — data you share within a farm (paddocks, recommendations, records) is visible to other team members you have invited to that farm, according to their assigned role and permissions.

We take reasonable steps to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Our security measures include:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Encrypted data storage at rest
• Authentication and session controls
• Role-based access permissions limiting what each user can see and do
• Regular backups to prevent data loss

While we employ industry-standard security practices, no system can guarantee absolute security. We encourage users to protect their account credentials and report any suspected unauthorised access to us promptly.

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction — request that inaccurate or incomplete information be corrected
• Deletion — you can permanently delete your own PaddockPal account at any time from our dedicated Account Deletion page by clicking Delete My Account and confirming. Deletion is immediate — no need to email support.
• Export — request an export of your farm data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as necessary to provide our services. If you request account deletion:

• Your account profile and login credentials will be deleted immediately
• Farms you own will be archived; your access to farms you were invited to is removed
• Billing, subscription, and payment records may be retained for legal and accounting purposes
• Audit logs may be retained where required for regulatory compliance or security purposes
• Anonymised or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely
• Deletion is processed immediately via our Account Deletion page — no waiting period

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify users within the platform and update the effective date above. Continued use of PaddockPal after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
